Job Description
Are you someone with an administrative background who’s searching for your next career opportunity? Tired of the same day-in and day-out routine?
Staffmark has partnered with J.B. Hunt and we are searching for two talented and assertive candidates for our Direct Hire Position for an On-site Administrative Assistant.
Daily duties are to include, but not limited to:
Arranging staff meetings and scheduling appointments
Answering or transferring phone calls and taking messages for select staff members
Maintaining the office calendar
Writing memos, correspondence, invoices, receipts, spreadsheets and other reports as needed
Keeping the office database and filing system up to date and organized
Purchasing office supplies and work with vendors
Working with office equipment vendors to purchase and maintain office equipment such as printers and fax machines
Sorting and delivering all mail and faxes
Dress Code: Business Casual
-Jeans, slacks, collared shirt, blouse or sweater are acceptable
-dress shoes, dress sneaker or boots are acceptable footwear
-shirts must be tucked in; including polos and company logo shirts
-nothing ripped, torn, tattered or frayed
Hours of position: Monday-Friday from 8:00AM-4:00PM OR 9:00AM-5:00PM
Pay: $14.00-16.00 depending on previous experience

Job Requirements
Qualifications:
The right candidate for this position should have strong working knowledge of various administrative practices
-must have working knowledge of MS Excel and Outlook (required)
-Must be trainable-company-specific applications will be taught
-Be able to lift up to 25 pounds
