The University of Findlay (www.findlay.edu) is seeking a full-time 10-month administrative assistant, responsible to provide office support services consistent with the philosophy of the Cosiano Health Center; render health care assistance in compliance with established protocols; assist in communicating health promotion and role modeling to the university community; and insure maintenance of confidentiality.
Established in 1882 through a joint partnership between the Churches of God, General Counsel and the city of Findlay, the University of Findlay has nearly 80+ majors leading to baccalaureate degrees and offers 11 master’s degrees, a doctor of pharmacy, a doctor of physical therapy, a doctor of occupational therapy and an Ed.D. More than 3,700 students are enrolled at Findlay. A high school diploma is required with one year of administrative office experience. The candidate must be proficient in typing, accurate filing, excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Word and Excel, and ability to organize files and compose brief letters. This person should be a good health role model, alert, courteous, and focused at all times. Preference given to candidates with additional years of administrative office experience.
