The Agronomy Admin will work to support the entire agronomy division through event planning, sales tracking and reporting, data entry, and program management in direct work with the Agronomy Sales Mgr and Agronomy Products Mgr.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Research, plan and execute on yearly Agronomy Kickoff event and monthly lunch and learn series for Agronomy team
Track monthly sales of each Crop Specialist and update and share reporting
Run prepay and other sales reports from a product standpoint monthly
Manage data entry around the PreciseWheat program, MiField trials, Research Farm results, Focus 5/Growmark marketing programs and Agronomy location seed plots
Help recruit, prepare training and new hire materials for Agronomy intern program
Assist in planning any Legacy Farmers Cooperative special events
Coordinate CCA credits and training opportunities for agronomy team
Manage agronomy calendar of deadlines and events
Complete various agronomy administrative organization and filing
Format and update Legacy Crop Protection, Seed and Crop Nutrient Program sheets
Fluent in agronomy billing system to assist in precision or agronomy locations as needed
Assist Precision Coordinator in gathering information for H2Ohio and NMP plans. Including but not limited to, the understanding of government programs, data entry and formatting, and correspondence with local offices as needed. Specific programs to vary as dictated by the industry
Regularly update new content on company website to keep information current
Help with Farmer Carbon Program Development
Help other departments as needed

High school graduate preferred with additional business/agricultural background
Strong interpersonal and verbal communications skills
The Agronomy Admin should have a background in, or be able to learn about agronomy and the cooperative system to best complete their job and thoroughly understand the day to day business of our employees and customers
Will maintain an attitude that promotes team work within the cooperative and a favorable image of the Legacy.
Experience in Microsoft excel, Microsoft word, and be competent in data entry and necessary computer programs to be able to complete required tasks. Additional training on Legacy specific programming will be provided.
Will attend and participate in training, education, and new technology opportunities that will allow him/her to better complete their role and support and serve our customers
Will participate in yearly goal setting and follow up sessions with the Agronomy Sales Mgr
Limited travel and/or evenings and weekends required for special events
Miscellaneous Information & Preferred Experience:
Standard work week is Monday through Friday; needs of the business may dictate exceptions to this standard
