MUST BE – Twenty-one (21) years of age.
NO Convictions and or Pending charges that include(s) a Felony, Domestic, a Crime involving a firearm. If you are not legally allowed to possess a firearm DO NOT apply.
Armed Security Officers must complete an OPOTA Basic Firearms qualifying course or be a commissioned Ohio law enforcement officer. If you still need to complete an OPOTA Firearms course you are looking at 2-4 months, before you are legally able to work armed security, if you successfully pass the opota firearm course.
Must have a non-shared and reliable vehicle to travel back and forth to work. Must have a working (receive and send calls) telephone/cellphone.
Applicant must possess integrity, be ethical, be honest.
If you use illegal or abuse prescription drugs do not apply. We require drug tests before hire and randomly after employment. We will perform a background check, BCI and FBI.
Applicants must be dependable showing up to work and carrying out duties while at work.
Applicants must be able to read, write and speak English fluently. They must be able to verbally defuse hostile individuals. This job will require you to defuse situations, people will challenge you.
Applicants need to be able to work and successfully complete their tasks on their own. They must be able to work a set schedule and be flexible with their hours.
Applicants will be required to do a lot of standing and walking.
Applicants will need to pass a physical agility test, similar to OPOTA testing, but not as strict.
