Position Summary: The finishing position is responsible for performing a post paint inspection of a component and finishing the product in accordance to drawing specifications for the end user.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install air, pneumatic, electrical and hydraulic schematics per drawing specifications
- Cut and install aluminum and / or wood decking
- Install DOT tape and other decals
- Install tires per specifications
- Install other hardware and / or items per drawing and work order specifications
- Perform quality inspection
- Maintain & operate machinery and equipment according to specifications & safety guidelines
The employee is responsible for maintaining their work environment, such as sweeping floors, removing debris, wrapping up hoses / extension cords, storing & returning tools to their proper locations when done with use and / or at the end of their shift and maintaining an overall safe work environment.

Required Skills / Abilities:
Use of power, vibration, rotational and other miscellaneous hand tools and equipment
- Operate a hydraulic shear
- Operate a forklift
- Rigging of components
Work Relationships and Scope: This position reports to the Team Leader. Daily interaction is required amongst team members and shop personnel.
Performance Expectations: Safety, quality, accuracy, efficiency, reliability and thoroughness of work performed; gains the trust and respect of the shift supervisor and fellow team members; develops good working relationships with team members. Develops working knowledge of the production environment and has ability to respond to change. Work to continuously improve the operations of the Company through lean activities and improvement suggestions.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Position requires good mathematical ability and ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings. Position requires the ability to operate precision measuring devices (i.e. tape measure, square).
Working Conditions: This position works in a production environment with the risk of injury. Safety equipment & designated PPE must be worn when working in the shop. This position requires an individual to stand, bend, kneel, reach, and twist. Bending, lifting and pushing up to 50 lbs. is required. Must be able to tolerate legally permissible exposure to dust and chemicals.
