Job Description

Position Summary

The enrollment communication coordinator will be responsible for gathering, writing and editing a variety of enrollment content for the Office of Admissions and various campus partners who have outgoing messages for incoming students and their families. The coordinator will be responsible for pulling together campus partners, interviewing them and using the information to craft content for emails, web sites, print pieces, texts, presentations, social and other up-and-coming communication methods. This position will need to critically think and strategize with campus partners on the best way to frame information and share it for enrollment purposes. Many of the campus partners will be enrollment based, but the list will include the Honors College, Office of Residence Life, College Credit Plus, academic majors, among others. In addition, the position will regularly work Admissions events and present, too, because this position sits on a communication and outreach visit team.


Essential Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Gather, strategize, write and edit a variety of enrollment content for Admissions and enrollment stakeholders
  • Coordinate projects and serve as a liaison between Admissions and campus partners
  • Present, host and work at Admissions-related events


Full-time, Administrative staff position available. Administrative Grade Level 353. Salary is commensurate with education and experience. Full benefit package available.

Job Requirements

Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

  • Must have excellent communication, editing, content and writing skills with an emphasis on customer service and student success.
  • Social, web, video and marketing skills would be helpful.


Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Communication, Public Relations or Marketing is preferred.  Degree must be conferred at the time of application.


 The following experience is required:

  • 1 year of communication experience.  2 years of graduate assistant experience will be accepted as one year of professional experience
