Job Description

The University of Findlay (www.findlay.edu) is seeking a full-time executive administrative assistant. This position provides high-level professional administrative support to the Vice President of University Advancement and to the Assistant Vice President for Development, with regard to coordinating day-to-day schedules, assembling meetings, both within campus and externally, creating meeting agendas, coordinating travel and assisting with scheduling constituent meetings. In addition, answering non-routine correspondence and assembling highly confidential and sensitive information. Deals with a diverse group of internal and external donors, volunteers, board members, and visitors to campus. Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified workload.

 

A high school diploma is required, some college or technical school is preferred, with three years of administrative assistant experience. The candidate must have the ability to keep office functioning smoothly in absence of Vice President and be able to work with a variety of personalities, including co-workers throughout campus and community members/donors.

 

No travel is expected for this position except throughout campus and locally in the community. A valid US Driver’s license with a safe driving record is required.
