If you’re looking for an exciting new career move, we at Staffmark are here to help! Our pet supply distribution client is hiring a hardworking Forklift Operator in Leipsic, OH. In this role, forklift operators will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to transport pallets of products ready for shipping. This is an excellent opportunity for forklift operators to develop meaningful job skills while working as part of an upbeat team. The facility comes equipped with onsite break rooms, a cafeteria, and a variety of vending machines.
About the Job
Pay Rate: $15.00 / hour
Shifts: 7:00pm-7:00am. Rotating 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on schedule. Work 15 days a month work/life balance!
Candidates will train for two weeks on first shift 7a-3p.
Day to Day Responsibilities
The Forklift Driver transports cases of pet food products across the warehouse for shipping or storage.
Daily job duties include:
Loading and unloading of trucks. Verification of items received – quantity, quality, condition of parts and cartons.
Perform shipping functions as the need arises. Perform inventory, labeling of products, moves product from staged area to into inventory, identifies product based on product code, move pallets to stretch wrap machine and wrap pallets for shipment.
Pulling and packaging items from a pick sheet for accurate shipment of small parts and finished goods. Inventory Organization and Control.
Perform a safety check of the forklift to ensure it is safe to operate.

Must have 6 months of previous forklift experience
Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a continuous basis
Ability to stand for extended periods – stand for entire shift 12 hrs
