Positions are temporary to hire with long term growth and professional development along with excellent benefits. The probationary period is typically 90 days with benefits starting most often upon hire with our client. Successful candidates will have a drive to learn, excellent work ethic and attendance, and enjoy working with machinery. Candidates can expect excellent communication with the supervisory and management team, consistent expectations, and stable work schedule. Overtime is most often voluntary with rare periods of required overtime. Daily updates on the status of production are posted so that employees can anticipate any required overtime and address family or personal conflicts with the supervisor. Positions require packaging, labeling and quality inspection of all products produced on the employee’s production line. Line Operators will learn to complete line start-ups, shutdowns, and tooling changeovers. Responsibilities: • Maintain safe operating practices to include PPR compliance, communicating unsafe conditions as soon as they are noticed, reporting any unsafe acts or injuries to the production supervisor immediately • Understand and practice ADS CORE VALUES • Assist with Preventative Maintenance of the equipment as required and report any equipment deficiencies to the production supervisor • Assist with line tooling changes, start-ups, shutdowns, and equipment operation • Conduct visual product quality inspections and document deficiencies or pull product for rework based on establish quality control documentation • Track quantity of units produced from the production line • Maintain proper knowledge of products and package requirements • Properly label all finished goods and store in the designated area • Maintain facility housekeeping • Maintain and build job skills through company training programs
• Self Motivated • Dependability • Team Oriented • Energetic • Ability to learn new skills • Basic Mathematical skills • Desire for growth within the company Education Requirements: High School Diploma / GED Preferred Experience: Previous industrial experience Physical Requirements: • Able to stand and be mobile for the duration of the 8 hours shift • Able to continuously use hands and arms to perform sometimes repetetive movements • Positions require full range of motion with bending, lifting, twisting, reaching, squating, and mount and dismount industrial equipment • Ability to work in extreme heat at times
