As program lead, you will work with members of every Habitat department to ensure the seamless transition to stable housing. Reporting to the Executive Director you will serve as our primary teacher to lead volunteers, donors, and our families to build or improve a place they can call home.

The Repair Manager will complete 40 critical home repairs making homes warmer, safer, and drier.  Partnering with our board of directors and volunteer committees to recruit, grow and develop your team of volunteer leaders, build sub-contractor partnerships leading to gifts of labor and materials. This position manages a multiple site portfolio of production, project budgets, schedules and events sponsored by generous donors, businesses, and churches. Responsible for all operational activities, material delivery, safety, building regulatory compliance and the successful-timely completion of the repair projects.

Ideal candidates for these roles have a minimum of three years of professional residential building or remodeling management experience, are excited to join our growing organization and teach volunteers of all skill levels, have a personality that is welcoming and easily engages people in conversation, models integrity and humility as an effective servant-leader and is self-motivated to ensure tasks are completed on-time with safety and quality as the priority. Must have a valid driver’s license. Work will require light lifting up to 50 lbs. Requires walking and standing to a significant degree. 


  • The primary purpose of the Repair Manager is to ensure 40 owner occupied repair projects are completed on-time and within budgetary limits annually utilizing unskilled volunteer labor and some sub-contractors to complete repair projects on homes and mobile homes.
  • This position is responsible for scope creation, bid and subcontractor coordination, material delivery, safety, building regulatory compliance, overall management, billing confirmation, post-build inspections and general oversight of multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish.

Job Requirements


  • This position requires successful completion of pre-employment screening, motor vehicle and other background checks.
  • Must have the capacity to successfully collaborate with various internal and external parties; Personal organization skills and sense of urgency; Ability to self-govern workload to meet departmental goals; Analytical problem-solving skills; Demonstrated ability to handle frequent changes with professionalism; Excellent written and oral communication skills; Demonstrated computer literacy with MS Office Word and Excel, Working knowledge OSHA standards and ADA requirements. 3 years or more of residential construction or remodel/repair experience.
