Job Description

Seeking a Human Resources Clerk to work 2nd shift hours – 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday. Individual must have minimum of one year experience in human resources field.

JOB SUMMARY / GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Human Resources Clerk will be responsible for performing human resource related duties at the administrative level. Previous experience in human resources is required as this individual will perform duties on an off-shift as the key contact for 2nd and 3rd shift.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: A teammate in this position must have the ability to: * Assist with new teammate onboarding process. * File all paperwork in teammate files and confidential files via our electronic database. * Answer human resource related questions from teammates. * Schedule meetings / interviews as needed. * Track performance reviews for teammates. * Manage company badge system and create replacement badges as needed. * Communicate company policies and practices (as appropriate) to supervisors and teammates. * Perform a variety of typing and clerical duties as needed. * Provide back-up coverage for day shift HR Team as needed, including new hire orientation, payroll and job-related changes, and tracking attendance. * Assist with organizing special projects which may include, but are not limited to; annual holiday events, job fairs, and teammate meetings.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: A teammate in this position must: * Have a high school diploma or GED. * Be self motivated and able to troubleshoot, identify issues and recommend solutions. * Have strong MS Office skills, including Word and Excel. * Be able to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check. * Have six months to one year of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience in human resources. * Possess strong organizational skills. * Have excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Possess exceptional communication skills.
