Description
POSITION SUMMARY:

Under general supervision of the MRO Buyer, the Associate MRO Buyer is responsible for all purchasing functions at Production Products, Inc.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Run – PBM Report’s (“Parts Below Minimum” Report)
Create RFQ’s from PBM (Purchase Request)
Assist Accounting on Invoice discrepancies
Maintain Open PO reports to make sure items are received to schedule and expedited for receipt.
Obtain SDS documents for chemicals to make sure they are environmentally safe.
Obtain Certificates of Insurance documents from all suppliers who completes work on site.
Complete part research when required for non-crib items.
Maintain Inventory Parts (Create/Update/Cost/Min-Max levels)
Complete RMA Returns
Assist crib attendants with maintaining non-Inventory items for Buyer (Outside Crib Inventory, weld wire, lubes, tags)
Assist crib attendants Inventory Cycle Counts and take ownership of cycle count process
Assist and backup MRO Buyer as required
Assist and backup crib attendant as required
Complete other tasks as needed / required

WORKING CONDITIONS:

Normal office environment.  This includes working under moderate noise levels.

Job Requirements

JOB QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Training and experience:  Prefer Bachelors degree or the equivalent experience.

SPECIAL SKILLS:

Must be able to negotiate contract for the purchase of goods and services.

MAJOR PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Employee must be able to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and exert up to 25 pounds of pressure on occasion.
