ABOUT THE JOB:
The Operations Training Specialist implements division operations training efforts via stand-up facilitation, workshops, e-learning, and one-on-one sessions. They also provide non-operational training to staff.
PREFERRED qualifications for this position include: working knowledge of an Electronic Learning Management System (ELMS); familiarity with warehouse and transportation technology and software.
Provide training and support to meet all regulatory and safety compliance required by DOT, OSHA, and company best practice.
Stay abreast of any new regulatory/compliance requirements and company safety best practices.
Identify learning gaps, create training materials, and/or act as subject-matter expert for curriculum development projects.
Establish and develop processes/best practices for scheduling e-learning and other training.
Maintain accurate, updated records of all training activities; monitor the ELMS database to ensure accuracy in reporting.
Conduct routine route ride and warehouse days with teammates/Drivers.
This position has additional duties; special projects may be assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
3+ years experience and working knowledge of learning and development and training; knowledge of adult learning theory.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and other office software as specified.
Ability to pass industry-required standard testing.
Candidates may be subject to a background check and drug screen, in accordance with applicable laws.
