The University of Findlay (www.findlay.edu) is seeking a full-time fellowship for a 12 month period as a Population Health Fellow in its Medication Therapy Management Telehealth Center. The position is for one-year, with a second year option available to qualified candidates upon mutual agreement of sponsoring entities.
Established in 1882 through a joint partnership between the Churches of God, General Counsel and the city of Findlay, the University of Findlay has nearly 60 majors leading to baccalaureate degrees and offers 11 master’s degrees, a doctor of pharmacy, a Ed.D. and a doctor of physical therapy. More than 3,800 students are enrolled at Findlay. The candidate is required to possess: a Doctor of Pharmacy degree prior to start date; be a licensed, registered pharmacist in the State of Ohio with no restrictions on license, carry personal professional liability insurance at all times; be eligible to serve as a preceptor for pharmacy students in the State of Ohio; ability to work in and understand the academic environment; skill in program development and execution; demonstrated commitment to the principles of diversity; excellence in communication and presentation skills; excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work well with other pharmacists, health care providers and students; possess a personal NPI number; sign and abide by Employer’s Non-Disclosure Agreement; and have no pharmacy license restrictions imposed by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy. Preference given to candidates possessing an APhA Medication Therapy Management Certificate training and experience with OutcomesMTM/Mirixia MTM platform.
A valid US Drivers’ license with a safe driving record is required.
