Job Description

1st Shift – Plant Support


Maintains a clean and safe work environment throughout the plant facility. Includes cleaning, painting, waxing equipment, floors, windows and walls.
Maintains all plant exterior landscaping as assigned by the Maintenance or Plant Manager.
Removes trash daily from all plant areas inside the facility and all external trash containers around the perimeter of the building.
Perform inspections on the floor scrubber and responsible for the preventative maintenance schedule.
Maintains the F-building for proper container storage and labeling of all containers.
Maintain exterior rack storage areas, exterior recycling and trash hopper areas.
Perform maintenance and Preventative Maintenance on A/C & Heating system.
Perform Preventative Maintenance on smoke eater and fire suppression systems.
Perform inspections and repairs on building lighting.
Adheres to all safety guidelines and monitors facility for potential safety concerns.
May participate on one of the councils or problem solving task forces.
Performs light maintenance or fabrication and other related activities.
Support TS 16949 and ISO 14001 Systems.
Adheres to all safety regulations.
Treats all Team Members with respect and dignity.
Authorized to initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process, and quality systems.
Performs other essential functions as assigned.
