Assist with manufacturing an entire product or component of a product at manufacturing areas including injection molding, press, and assembly. Set up or operate plastic molding machines to mold thermoplastic parts or products. Set up or operate headliner press machines to produce headliners. Assemble or operate assembly machines to add components to parts or products. Ensure products are working exactly as intended, and there are no defects or other issues. May perform more than one task conducted in the production process. Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications. Set up and operate production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices, standard operating procedures, and safety standards. Observe equipment operations so malfunctions can be detected, and notify associates, group leaders, or supervisors of any malfunctions. Lift raw materials and finished products. Determine if product schedules are complete. Mark or tag identification of parts. Load and unload items from machines, conveyors, of conveyances. Records information, such as dates and times of product production. Set up and verify the functionality and safety of the equipment. Observe continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure products meet specifications and to detect jams or malfunctions, making adjustments as necessary. Turn valves and dials of machines to regulate pressure, temperature, speed, and feed rates, and set cycle times. Test products or subassemblies for functionality or quality. Start up and shut down processing equipment. May be assigned to drive a forklift. Meet established production quantity levels. Keep work areas clean and organized. Work as part of the team. Follow all company rules and policies. Follow all safety rules and ISO requirements. Assure that all products are built to the highest standard of quality.
Must be able to frequently move and lift object up to 40 pounds. Employer will require 10 panel drug screen and complete blood count (CBC) test to ensure safety. Employer will offer 40 hours of work per week. Workers may be required to work various shifts, Monday through Saturday. Workers are needed to begin work on 10/01/2021 through 09/30/2022. May be required to work the following shifts:
First Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Second Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
Third Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
A Sprint Shift: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM
B Sprint Shift: 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM
C Sprint Shift: 6:00 PM – 12:00 AM
D Sprint Shift: 12:00 AM – 6:00 AM
Worksite location: 1111 N. Warpole Street, Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
Workers will be paid no less than $16.00 per hour for first shift. Workers will be paid no less than $17.00 per hour for second and third shifts. OT may be available at no less than $24.00 per hour for the first shift, and no less than $25.50 / hour for second and third shifts.
Employer will provide on-the-job training. Employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid bi-weekly. The employer will make all deductions from the worker’s paycheck as required by law but will make no other deductions.
If a worker completed 50% of the work contract period, Employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, Employer will provide or pay for worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $13.17 per day during travel to a maximum of $55.00 per day with receipts.
Worker will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (except passport fees).
Employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment at no cost to the worker.
The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
