Part time opportunities are available in our North Baltimore, OH plant for production and warehouse departments. Associates will support the set up and operation of equipment which blends / mixes / packages / transports liquid or dry chemicals that comprise our customer products. It is critical to ensure the highest quality product at the lowest possible costs while meeting customer specifications and delivery requirements in accordance with Avient Corporation policies and procedures, and this role will help to ensure this.
Weighs ingredients to meet recipe specification and inserts into machinery, or ensures the correct ingredients are delivered to the work area and inserts pre-blended materials into machinery.
Supports Production Operators as they run machinery to mix, extrude, or handle materials according to operating procedures.
Examines materials visually or physically to ensure conformance with established standards.
Refers issues / problems to Lead or Shift Supervisor for disposition.
Supports all required machine cleaning.
Follows and complies with all safety and work rules and regulations. Maintains departmental housekeeping standards.
As required, makes boxes, packs, labels and locates materials.
Ensures all products are properly labeled.
Performs general housekeeping and 6S tasks.
Performs pressure washer duties to clean auxiliary equipment.

The noise level in the work environment ranges from normal office noise levels to loud.
