Rate of Pay:
$18.08/ hour
$19.33/ hour (after 6 months)
Paid Time Off (PTO) – Starting 90 days after hired onto the Team!

While reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for contributing to the production environment. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success. You must have a proven record of success in a fast-paced environment. You must have the ability to work with various teams and have a good eye to spot defects in the packing line. You will take pride in your personal hands-on and analytical abilities, organizational skills and attention to detail
Assemble, pack, close and stack boxes.
Maintain a safe working environment. Safety is your #1 priority.
Pack boxes according to instructions.
Removes finished parts from press; visually inspects to assure quality; move parts to designated area.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Full time plus overtime as required.
Report any quality defects to quality, machine operator or supervisor
Collaborating closely with other departments and teams
Performing all duties in support of Sonoco’s quality and safety policies.

Job Requirements
Successful candidates will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checks.Must be able to frequently bend, stand, stoop and grasp and work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. Must be willing to work overtime and have demonstrated solid work record. Sonoco is a drug and smoke-free workplace.
