Job Description

As a Production Associate – Direct Hire: you’ll have the opportunity from the beginning to get involved and start your new career off right!

Pay Wages: $17-19 per hour based on experience and working knowledge the candidate is able to transfer for this position.

*Conveniently located less than 4 miles from I-75!*

Schedule: This position operates on a 2-2-3 schedule, rotating BOTH days and nights! 7:30-7:30 in two-week spans.
-Paid breaks – Paid for the full 12 hours!

Responsibilities are including, but not limited to:
-Setting up and adjusting the lab equipment for product testing
-Collecting and evaluating products to ensure the conformity to the company standards
-Ensure the continuous machine operations by following directions of the Shift Coordinator
-Troubleshoot machines to maintain the production levels
-Monitor machines and other equipment and report any deficienciesto the coordinators
-Monitor, collect and implement plant metrics for Statistical process Controls, asset utilization, conversion costs, production yields
-Utilize the S.P.C. tools to enhance the plant operations and provide feedback on the efficiency of the tools
-Collaborate with all other team members to ensure the plant processes are running effectively and efficiently
-Other duties as assigned

Analytical Skills: Be able to evaluate the machine process and implement other programing plants to better suit the needs of the facility
Ability: to learn, implement new processes and troubleshoot issues that may arise
Attention to detail: be capable of knowing when something isn’t right and learn how to fix it
Written Communication – Writing thorough reports and be able to communicate clearly with all other team members
Adaptability – be able to adapt to changes; environment, procedures and plant processes
Leadership: be able to take charge and lead by example with little to no supervision

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 1-2 years of lab/quality experience within a manufacturing facility.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals in any given circumstance.
Reasoning: Ability to use analytical skills to figure out what the issues are that arise. Take it upon yourself to be a “go getter” and find the solutions!
