Under direction of the Medical Director, you will provide psychiatric care at any FRC clinic location and/or via telehealth, while also being available for consultation. You will assist with the implementation of evidence based clinical services and provide psychiatric expertise for complex cases and quality assurance systems.

How you’ll make a difference in your role:

You will maintain client care based on best practices for provision of services and strictly adheres to agency policy/procedures, including confidentiality and client’s rights.

You will create clinical documentation in accordance with FRC policy and procedures, OMHAS standards, and accreditation requirements. This will include collaborative documentation practices and submission of documentation within 24 hours.

You will maintain appropriate awareness to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics.

You will be available to provide prescription authorizations via the telephone.

You will provide clinical supervision to assigned mid-level practitioners, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners, if needed and in coordination with other staff working with FRC.

You will participate in care coordination within FRC and other behavioral health services in the community.

Job Requirements

Who are you?

You are a professional with any combination of education, training and work experience, which indicates possession of the skills, knowledge and abilities, needed to perform the job requirements listed. An example of an acceptable qualification for this position is: Successful completion of psychiatric residency with eligibility to become board certified in child and/or adult psychiatry. The possession of a current DEA license, active Ohio license with a concentration in Psychiatry that is free of any legal/ethical infractions with the ability to be credentialed and bill commercial insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, and other funding sources and contracts. Training and experience performing E&M services preferred. Background check and fingerprinting required. In this role you will regularly use various computer apps including Microsoft Office, our HRIS, EHR and other online systems, with multiple logins often simultaneously.
