PUBLIC SANITARIAN – FULL TIME OR PART TIME 
SENECA COUNTY GENERAL HEALTH DISTRICT

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Candidate will be responsible for doing food, pool, school, animal-bite, nuisance, and other various inspections. Must be able to work flexible hours including some evenings, nights, and weekends.

Pay is commensurate with experience.

Job Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a Registered Sanitarian, Sanitarian-in-Training, or candidate that is or will be Sanitarian-in-Training eligible. To be eligible, candidates should minimally possess a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college including 45 quarter hours or 30 semester hours of science courses approved by the Board of Sanitarian Registration. Degree in Environmental Science is preferred.  Must possess a valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, and successfully complete background check at own expense prior to employment through the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation as per Ohio S.B. 38.
