Seeking an experienced Quality Manager to join our North American Headquarters in Findlay, Ohio. We are a tier one and tier two automotive supplier who offers great growth potential and competitive benefits. If you are a Quality Manager with automotive experience and excellent leadership, organizational, mentoring, and communication skills who enjoys a moderate amount of travel, then this position may be a perfect match for you. The Quality Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple locations including operations in Mexico. Up to 50% travel is required which is usually scheduled Monday through Friday with most weekends scheduled home. Pay for this position is based on a candidate’s qualifications such as certifications, education and professional experience. Key Responsibilities: Maintain TS16949 and ISO 14001 certifications Ensure customer satisfaction and monitor supplier performance Support quality activities across 3 locations including Mexico facilities Manage procedures and continuous improvement of key processes related to quality assurance and environmental objectives Lead, train, and mentor Quality department staff Identify and establish performance measurements and proactive controls to ensure quality Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities relating to products, processes, and quality/environmental systems Travel to facilities in North America and Mexico #LI-MG1
The Quality Manager position requires proven leadership and employee development ability. Must have a minimum of 2-3 years’ experience managing quality assurance activities in a manufacturing environment preferable in a tier one or tier two facility. A four year degree is preferred but will consider those with a related two year degree in a Quality, Business, or Management field and related experience. Must be familiar with managing all operational requirements of a TS16949 quality management system. Computer skills should include a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
