Job Description



The primary purpose of this position is to provide specialist support to the recruiting process, programs and projects. The primary responsibilities of this position will be to complete the full cycle of recruiting including working with hiring managers to understand their departmental needs, approving and posting requisitions, reviewing applications, making offers, conducting wage reviews, and communicating with candidates to set intake dates and discuss offers. This position is also be tasked with processing internal status changes, upholding BVHS policies and procedures and to guard against discrimination in all parts of the hiring process. This position will also manage the internal transfer practice, facilitate the in-take process for new hires and physicians, and collaborate with recruiting team members on scorecards, reporting and projects.


Duty 1: Responsible for facilitating the overall administration of the recruitment and employment process in close collaboration with the other recruiters and recruitment/onboarding assistant.

Duty 2: Ensures that the recruiting and selection process is compliant with BVHS policies and employment law.

Duty 3: Assist in providing accurate financial data related to the recruiting/retention function and adheres to budgetary guidelines.

Duty 4: Facilitate hiring events, summer employment process, and assist with recruitment process training for BVHS leadership.

Duty 5: Collaborate with recruiting team in compiling information for the HR Scorecard and Board Report in an accurate and timely manner to keep the organization informed of HR activities.

Duty 6: Assist in the administration of the position control system and updating job descriptions in the Taleo System.

Duty 7:Assist in other HR/Recruiting team projects as needed.

Duty 8: Assist with making badges, facilitating fingerprinting, and the new hire visits.

Duty 9: Work efficiently and effectively in Taleo, PeopleSoft, and other technology systems as needed.

Job Requirements


* Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in recruitment and/or a human resources related field
* Proven PC literacy, specifically in Word and Excel programs (intermediate level)
* Ability to multi-task and organize work in order to meet deadlines and positively deal with stressful situations
* A valid driver’s license is required (if you do not have a valid Ohio driver’s license you must obtain one within one year of your residency in the state) and you must also meet BVHS’s company fleet policy requirements
* Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills, in addition to the ability to deal with sensitive and highly confidential information

* Experience in full cycle recruiting
* Experience in requisition management
* Experience facilitating pre-employment and onboarding tasks

This position requires a full range of body motion with intermittent bending, squatting, kneeling, and twisting. The associate must be able to sit for three hours, walk for one hour and stand for two hours per day. The associate must be able to lift 20 pounds. The individual must have excellent eye/hand coordination to operate the machines. This position requires corrected vision and hearing in the normal range. This position requires excellent verbal skills to communicate with applicants, employees and management. The associate must be able to operate a motor vehicle.Apply here:
