Job Description

PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION
The primary purpose of this position is to provide excellent customer service and support for our internal and external customers. This position will serve as primary point of contact for the recruiting team providing information regarding the application, interview, and new hire processes. The Recruiting Assi stant will assist the Recruiter with all processes or projects as assigned. This position may also provide additional project support for other HR Team members on an as needed basis.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
During the performance process, please assess the level at which the staff member achieves the job accountabilities. Please use the “Comments” section to document specific examples of performance issues, staff member’s strengths and/or shortcomings, areas of suggested performance improvement and other comments as appropriate to further the staff member’s growth and development.

Duty 1: Responsible for assisting in the overall administration of the recruitment and employment process.
Duty 2: Ensures that the recruiting and selection process is compliant with all applicable policies and regulatory requirements.
Duty 3: Assists internal and external customers regarding various recruitment functions, including open positions, the application process, transfer policies, and other recruiting information.
Duty 4: Monitors designated requisitions and filters applicants based on requisition specific requirements.
Duty 5 : Responsible for data entry into multiple systems and databases, collect and track interview materials, monitor and track onboarding process, prepare offer documentation and facilitate background check processes, assist with scheduling interviews, facilitate communication throughout the hiring process with new hires and hiring managers in a professional and timely manner.
Duty 6 : Prepare In-take documents, including sending in-take packets to be printed when stock is getting low, work with catering for In-take day, and assist with conducting In-take when needed.
Duty 7 : Complete Ohio New Hire Reporting, as well as, other reports updating new hires for other departments.

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS
* Associate degree required
* 1-2 years of experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems, resume rating, and facilitating pre-employment processes required.
* Proven organizational skills and ability to multi-task required to handle fast-paced environment
* Excellent customer service skills required
* Excellent verbal and written communications skills required
* Must Maintain confidentiality at all times
* PC skills, including intermediate level performance with Microsoft Office Suite is required
* Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills required.
* Positive presence in person and on phone, with the ability to deal with difficult customers and situations is essential.

PREFERENCES
* Bachelor Degree preferred
* Experience in a fast-paced Human Resources environment preferred

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position requires a full range of body motion with intermittent bending, squatting, kneeling, and twisting. The associate must be able to sit for three hours, walk for one hour and stand for two hours per day. The associate must be able to lift 20 pounds. The individual must have excellent eye/hand coordination to operate various office machines. This position requires corrected vision and hearing in the normal range.
