Job Purpose

The Salesforce Product Manager is accountable for the overall operational and strategic direction of the Salesforce platform and the engagement with the A-Gas user community. This position will oversee a team of Salesforce developers to ensure the consistent delivery and update of the Salesforce roadmap to align with the core organizational priorities and direction.

Remote work location with one day a week onsite at the A-Gas Bowling Green Office

Key Responsibilities

Manages Salesforce product lifecycle to ensure that the needs of customers/users continue to be met. Selects adopts and adapts appropriate product development methods, tools, and techniques to meet business area requirements

Provide guidance and expertise on Salesforce architecture, design, and implementation

Coordinates testing and product launches and support communications and training

Anticipates changes in customer/user needs; adapts products and creates product retirement and transitioning plans

Establish and run SCRUM events, artifacts, dashboards, and reports to create visibility of the backlog, work in progress and requirements delivered

Responsible for investigative work to determine business requirements and specify effective business processes, through improvements in information systems, information management, practices, procedures, and organization change

Collaborates with stakeholders at all levels, in the conduct of investigations for strategy studies, business requirements specifications and feasibility studies.

Prepares business cases that define potential benefits, options for achieving these benefits through development of new or changed processes, and associated business risks

Takes full responsibility for the definition, approach, facilitation, and satisfactory completion of projects. Identifies, assesses, and manages risks to the success of the project. Ensures that realistic project plans are maintained and ensures regular and accurate communication to stakeholders. Adopts appropriate project management methods and tools

Leads the continuous evaluation of the user experience of products and services and ensures that improvements are addressed in future product design

Any other task as reasonably required

Job Requirements

Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or similar field

Proficient with Agile methodologies, object-oriented design, service-oriented design

Salesforce software development experience

Strong experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic business environment

Experience in project management

Ability to establish and maintain working relationships and gain the trust of others at all levels

Track record of inspirational, motivational leadership to maximize individual and team performance

Is a confident, energetic self-starter, with strong interpersonal skills.

Has good judgment, a sense of urgency and has demonstrated commitment to high standards of ethics, regulatory compliance, customer service, and business integrity


Salesforce certifications

Salesforce integration experience with business systems as well as working with integration tools

International experience
