Kleinfelder is seeking a Site Department Engineer / EIT with 0 to 3 years’ experience to join us in our Bowling Green, OH office.

Job Requirements
Required Experience:
strong verbal and written communication skills,
the ability to organize priorities and multi-task effectively, and
a thirst to learn and achieve continuous improvement in a team environment, and
a can-do attitude and problem-solving mindset are essential, and
a strong commitment for accountability to project quality and schedule.
Education (Including any required Certifications):
A BS in Civil Engineering is required and EIT is preferred.
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D is required
Preferred Skills/Experience:
The candidate should have at a minimum, experience in, or the ability to readily learn, the fundamentals of the site design of buildings and foundations including:
ability to use Word, Excel, Bluebeam, Outlook, and Teams to effectively communicate with internal and external clients,
ability to adhere to organizational standards for quality and performance,
ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications,
ability to read and interpret applicable design codes,
ability to assist in preparing basic design calculations under the direction of a Senior civil Engineer,
ability to assist in reviewing/checking calculations prepared by others,
ability to learn to use storm drainage analysis software,
ability to assist in the drafting of plans and details,
ability to assist in preparing meeting minutes,
ability to assist in reviewing and processing RFIs,
ability to assist in reviewing and processing Submittals and Shop Drawings,
ability to assist in performing field observation and field measurements to record existing conditions,
ability to work collaboratively with other design disciplines (Architecture, MEP) to coordinate the site with the overall design
