The Seneca County Department of Job and Family Services is seeking to fill an open position for a Social Service Caseworker to investigate claims of abuse and neglect of children and older adults. This position also testifies in court cases and serves as the on-call worker after hours, as assigned.

- Education: Degree in Social Work or other related fields such as public administration, human services, psychology, criminology, human resources or education.
- Bachelor’s degree or
- Associate degree and 2 years in a human services occupation**
- Employed at least 5 years in a human services occupation**
**For employment to continue, a person must obtain a job related Bachelor’s degree no later than 5 years after the date of employment
