Warehouse – Production Technician

Leipsic, OH

$15.00/hr

6 month+ temp assignment

The site operates 2-2-3 rapid rotation schedule.

Shift times are 7:30am/pm to 8:00pm/am

Temporary Team Members function as a member of an area team which is directly responsible for the efficient production of quality products in the required quantities. They Operate/change over specified machinery in the assigned area. Team Members must have the skill set to perform the tasks within the area as needed. This job requires Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills to support their assigned team.

Physical/Environmental Requirements:

Standing on a concrete floor

Wearing proper personal protective equipment (hair net, bump cap, ear plugs, safety shoes)

Bending, stooping, twist, turn, standing >8hrs per shift, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 lbs

Walk behind pallet jack assignments and Lock Out Tag Out activities require OSHA certification

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

Performs all assigned activities and job tasks within a line or area

Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner

Aid in solving problems to root cause level

Able to maintain accurate records of QC checks, production numbers or waste performance

Keeps detailed log books: Performs all shift support documentation in a quality matter

Demonstrates high degree of ownership for product quality: Ensure all standard quality checks & other quality related duties are performed

Able to operate a computer and utilize the basic standard desktop systems

Understands principles of inventory control

Understands production schedules, production computer systems, work instructions and production inventories.

KEY EXPERIENCES

1 years of work experience within manufacturing, or a technical and/or trade discipline

Demonstrated competency in computer and pc software including MS Office and email

Must be willing and able to work and accept varying shifts and schedules

Ability to read/comprehend written and oral instruction in the English language

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS

2+ years of manufacturing experience operating a variety of processing or packaging machines

Knowledge of inventory control principles

Experience with SAP

DESIRED EDUCATION

High School diploma or equivalent
