Under the direction of the Residential Manager, you will oversee the care of the residents during designated work hours. You will work with clients who are admitted on emergency status to reduce their level of distress, stabilize the crisis situation, and help with their return to a pre-crisis level of functioning. You will be part of a versatile team that will implement client treatment plans that are established for each resident
How you’ll make a difference in this role:
You will oversee the cooking, housekeeping, laundry, and personal hygiene skills of the residents and oversee the residents in taking their medications
You will observe residents’ behavior and functioning, monitor progress on treatment plans, and communicate with the appropriate team members, while also offering encouragement of the residents to be involved in their own treatment
Be a positive role model for the residents and provide ongoing guidance with use of motivational interviewing
Facilitate programming using evidence based behavioral management techniques
You will work in cooperation with other providers, family members, or significant others involved in the residents’ recovery plan

Job Requirements
Who are you?
You will have any combination of education, training, and work experience which indicates possession of the skills needed to perform the job requirements listed. An example of an acceptable qualification for this position is: HSD/GED with experience working with individuals that have primary mental health diagnosis and/or co-occurring disorders. Experience in a residential environment is preferred, with a knowledge base of psychological disorders and related behaviors. Must be willing to submit to background check and fingerprinting. You are able to regularly use various computer applications requiring multiple logins, including those for communicating internally and externally, including Microsoft Office, as well as our HRIS, EHR and other online systems, often simultaneously.
